Just as it takes a village to raise a child, it takes a united community to sustain and grow our church.

Founded 60 years ago by a few dedicated parishioners, Soorp Khatch Church has been the heart of our spiritual and cultural life. Through services, sacraments, and community events, it has brought faith, hope, and national pride to generations of Armenians.

Today, as our community grows, so must our vision. We are moving forward with Phase I of our new campus on River Road: the construction of a community center that will house Hamasdegh School, host annual events, and generate rental income to support future phases—including building a new sanctuary.

We’ve reached a pivotal moment. Our goal is to pay off the property and begin construction. Your financial support—whether monthly, quarterly, annually, or through gifts of stock or property—will make this dream possible. Every contribution counts and is fully tax-deductible.

Let us come together to build a lasting legacy for future generations. Just as our founders gifted us with a spiritual home, now it’s our turn to do the same.

Thank you for your continued support. For more information, please contact the church office at (301) 229-8742 or email chair@soorpkhatch.org.

Prayerfully,
Archpriest Fr. Sarkis Aktavoukian, Pastor
